A family home just a few steps from the sea. A base for discovering villages, trails and small corners of Liguria. Or, quite simply, a place to stop.
This is our family home in Pietra Ligure. Some of the furniture and objects were here long before us: we chose to keep them because they tell a story. The kitchen and bathroom are new; the character of the home remains.
It is not a holiday complex, nor a room designed to look like every other one. It is a place we return to ourselves, and one we enjoy sharing with people who want to live in Pietra for a few days.
One double bed and one bunk bed; a terrace large enough for outdoor meals, with a glimpse of the sea. The home is on the third floor, with a lift. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2023.
The home does not have air conditioning. For any other practical details, write to us: we prefer to answer precisely before you arrive.
In Pietra you can wander through the narrow lanes and pedestrian old town, head down to the beach and come home for lunch. Then there are all the roads leading out: to other villages, along the coast or up into the hills.

Verezzi is made up of four stone hamlets, uphill lanes, arches and little squares suspended above the gulf. Come for Piazza Sant’Agostino and stay for the light, especially towards evening. Down below, the Borgio caves are a surprising detour even when the sea is not calling.
Inside the walls, the landscape changes: palaces, cloisters, workshops and doorways carved from Finale stone. It is a place to explore without a plan, perhaps in the late afternoon, stopping between a square and an aperitivo. An extraordinary network of hiking and cycling trails starts here too.
Two different ways of experiencing the same coast: Varigotti, with its colourful houses and coves; Noli, with its towers, medieval centre and history as a maritime republic. The Sentiero del Pellegrino runs above the sea between them. You can set out for a beach and end the day inside a village.
Here the sea really changes colour, among coves, cliffs and the island that seems to float just off the coast. Come to swim, snorkel or look down over the gulf from above. Even out of season, the light and trails are worth the journey.
And when you want to leave the coast behind: the Toirano caves, the trails of the Finale area and the inland villages. Another Liguria, only a few changes of scenery away.
